Privacy and data.
This page describes what data this website collects and what happens to it. It is written to match how the site actually works, and we update it when the site changes. Last updated 31 July 2026.
Who we are
This site is operated by DQventures Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. For anything related to your data, reach us through the contact page or by email at arjun@dqventures.com.
What we collect
Most of this site is reading material, and reading it sends us nothing. We collect personal data in two situations:
- What you send us. When you submit the application form or the contact form, we receive what you type: typically your name, contact details, professional background and information about your business idea. We use it to assess your application, reply to you, and run any engagement that follows. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering an agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. These exist to operate and secure the site, and we do not use them to identify visitors.
What we do not do
- This site sets no cookies of its own.
- We run no analytics or advertising trackers.
- There are no user accounts, no login, and no newsletter signup.
- We do not sell personal data, to anyone, for anything.
The third-party services we use
Three kinds of third-party service touch data on this site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Forms. The application and contact forms are provided by Fillout. What you submit passes through Fillout’s systems before it reaches us, and the embedded form may set cookies inside its own frame.
- Embedded video. Some pages and blog posts embed players from YouTube, Vimeo, Loom and Giphy. YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no cookies until you press play. The other players may set cookies when you interact with them. If you never play an embedded video, none of this applies.
- Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which keeps the server logs described above.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us for as long as we need it to deal with your application or enquiry, and afterwards only where we have a genuine reason to, such as an ongoing engagement or a legal obligation. Server logs are kept on our hosting provider’s standard rotation.
Your rights
Under Singapore’s PDPA, and the UK and EU GDPR where they apply, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact page and we will act on it. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change what this site collects, we will change this page in the same release and update the date at the top.
